Re: [INVESTIGATION] - Sims 4 Epic Bundle issues with EA app

So basically, there is a pack bundle on epic (with jungle adventure ect.). My epic account and Ea account are linked and other games work no problem but, Ea app doesn't show the packs from the bundle as owned but when I open the sims, inside the game menu in the expansions tab it shows that i have them except tha when I play the content is not showing.

In summary

- epic show that i own the pack

- ea app doesn't

- the game itself shows that I own them but its like they're not downloaded

- since the ea app doesn't recognise that i have them i cannot download them manually (app wants me to buy it)

- i cannot download it from epic beacuse it just opens the game

I have the exact same problem as you

I had the same issues - after closing both apps (epic and ea launcher) and then starting the ea app alone I had to re-login in the ea launcher. Then I went to sims 4 -> manage -> expansions and there were the new 3 packs ready for download.  

Not so nice but to be expected - Sims 4 will launch the epic-launcher even if you start it from the ea app. Its a bit annoying as epic takes ages to launch.

EDIT: nevermind, once I deleted the Epic Games launcher, I couldn't start the game anymore. I suppose you'll need to keep Epic Games installed.

This exact thing is happening to me right now, I want the free DLC, but now that it says ive already "claimed it" and yet in game and through EA its saying i dont have the 3 DLC in my game, im afraid i wont be able to reclaim it once this problem gets fixed. 

@Jeanxter I had some DLC before all of this. It's still accessable for me. The only inconvenience right now is the dependancy on the Epic Games launcher to play the game. A tip is to make sure to make a backup of your current game. In case linking your account to epic games messes some stuff up, you can import your save files and mods back in

Well, idk whats changed because 2 hrs ago the free epic dlc was not listed on the EA manage addons for download, but NOW it is and can be downloaded! YaaaY🥳

For what its worth, the only difference this time, is the epic is not running.

I have the same problem. I can launch the game, but a can't download it...

Hey think I've found the issue with the content not showing. If you check your programme 86 folder I found for some reason the epic games dlc downloaded into the sims 4 DEMO folder. This meant it was showing as purchased and downloaded as is being reported but wasn't showing in game. I just pasted it into the correct folder- the normal sims one and it now works. 

Sadly, I can't find a demo folder either. It shows that I own it, but like you before, still have no idea where it put it because I can't access it in CAS.
