Hello, sorry to hear you're running into this. I took a quick look, and it appears your account does have the entitlement.
Could you let me know whether the pop-up you're seeing is the same as the one discussed in this thread?
If so, you may want to try some of the methods and workarounds shared by other players there:
- Check DirectX 9.0c Method1: Press Win + R, type dxdiag, and press Enter. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, look at the DirectX Version line under the System tab. (Note: This will show your system’s main DirectX version (like DirectX 12 on Windows 10/11), not specifically if DirectX 9.0c is present.)
- Check DirectX 9.0c Method2: C:\Windows\System32 Look for files named like d3dx9_*.dll (for example, d3dx9_43.dll). If these files exist, DirectX 9.0c components are present.
- Temporarily disable Antivirus/Firewall
- Clear the EA App Cache: Use the App Recovery tool in the EA App. Go to top left of EA App then click triple dash > Help > App Recovery
- Delete Cache Manually: Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type %localappdata%, and press Enter. Delete the EADesktop and Electronic Arts folders.
- Run EA App as Administrator
- Reinstall/Uninstall the EA App
- Update Windows and Drivers
