Redeem code freeze

Hello, I started using the EA app but there is a problem when trying to redeem code from inside app, after clicking the button "Redeem code", app freezes and then shows an error message. Please see...

If you're still having trouble getting this code redeemed, please try clearing the cache for the EA App with the steps here.

Hello @EA_Solaire ,
I tried clearing the cache, re-logging and restarting PC, re-installing the EA app but nothing fixed the issue.
I just recently installed EA app and this is the only thing not working for me.
After I press "Redeem code", loader (circle) appears for a second and then everything freezes and then after a minute, error message shows up as I uploaded in attachment.

    I don't have code to redeem at the moment but will be planning on buying one in the near future, I already noticed this workaround and believe it will work but just want to report blocker bug I described in the EA app.
