Refuting the Wrongful Bans on Fair Players by Apex

Dear Apex Officials and Community Members,

As a long-term fair player of Apex, I am compelled to strongly refute the wrongful bans recently imposed on myself and many other similar players. Below is my personal experience and an objective feedback regarding the ban system as a whole:

1. Wrongful Ban and Ineffective Appeals

During the two months of my wrongful ban, I submitted over ten appeals but never once did a human customer service representative intervene to help resolve my issue. All responses were automated template emails stating my appeals were rejected, leaving me unable to properly appeal or defend myself.

2. Unclear Ban Reasons Contradicting Real In-Game Performance

I have never understood the specific reasons behind Apex’s ban. A very low KDA usually reflects a player's true skill and performance. My account shows no abnormal KDA or unusual shifts in ranked points, which is clearly inconsistent with the reasons given for the ban.

3. Severe Deficiencies in Apex’s Anti-Cheat System

Apex’s anti-cheat system has consistently disappointed players. Actual cheaters are still able to use rapid-fire Sentinel sniper rifles and unrealistically fast movement speeds. The anti-cheat system fails to perform timely bans and often can’t even manage second-time bans, severely degrading the game environment.

4. Troubling Loopholes in the Store and Currency System

The store and currency system in Apex is fraught with loopholes such as black market gold, illegal gifting, platinum, and even negative in-game currency balances. I have personally spent nearly $1000, yet I observed accounts with tens of thousands in negative currency that remain unbanned. I would like to ask, why is this allowed?

5. Crisis of Trust in Automated Responses

The most ridiculous part is that Apex’s email replies consistently assert that after their review, it was confirmed I used illegal software. Given the currency system anomalies, inability to immediately ban cheaters, and frequent DDoS attacks causing normal players to be kicked from matches, it is hard to trust that their technology would never wrongly ban a fair player like me.

In conclusion, I urge Apex officials to seriously review their anti-cheat system and appeal process to reduce wrongful bans on fair players, increase effectiveness in combating real cheats, and improve player experience and trust overall. I hope the company can promptly and fairly resolve unjust bans on myself and others.

Thank you all for your attention!

  • Refuting the Wrongful Bans on Fair Players in Apex Legends

Dear Apex Legends Officials and Community Members,

As a long-term fair player, I feel compelled to strongly refute the recent wrongful bans affecting myself and many others. Below is my personal experience and feedback regarding the current ban and appeal system:

    1. Wrongful Ban and Ineffective Appeals

During my two-month ban, I submitted over ten appeals but never received a response from an actual representative. Every reply was an automated template rejecting my appeal, leaving me with no fair opportunity to explain or defend myself.

    2. Unclear Ban Reasons vs. Actual In-Game Data

I have never been informed of any specific reason for the ban. My gameplay data — including a low KDA and normal ranked progression — shows nothing abnormal or indicative of cheating. The stated reasons contradict my in-game record.

    3. Deficiencies in the Anti-Cheat System

Apex’s anti-cheat system continues to fail in identifying and removing real cheaters, such as those using rapid-fire Sentinels or unnatural movement speeds. Many offenders evade timely or repeat bans, which degrades the competitive environment for fair players.

    4. Loopholes in the Store and Currency System

The in-game economy is also plagued by issues such as black-market coins, unauthorized gifting, and even negative currency balances. Despite personally spending nearly $1,000, I’ve seen accounts with large negative balances remain unbanned. This inconsistency is deeply concerning.

    5. Crisis of Trust in Automated Processes

It’s difficult to trust the accuracy of Apex’s automated systems when the same infrastructure struggles with rampant DDoS attacks and fails to promptly detect actual cheaters. The assertion that I used illegal software seems unsubstantiated given these evident flaws.

    Conclusion

I urge Apex officials to conduct a thorough review of their anti-cheat and appeal processes to prevent wrongful bans, improve the detection of real cheaters, and rebuild trust within the player community. I sincerely hope that my case and others like it will be re-evaluated fairly and transparently.
