Sims 3 Expansions Not Downloading

I have the same problem. I go to "The Sims 3" under Installed Games, go to manage and then manage add-ons. I have expansion packs on there with a blue download button next to it. I click the download button, it highlights it, sometimes does the loading thing for 1 second and then all the buttons for all the expansion packs turn grey and it doesn't do anything! Nothing is loading, nothing is downloading. I click 'close' then go to my download manager and it says that nothing is going on there. I also tried to go into the search bar and look up the expansion pack and then click download, but when I click it, it does nothing. I've tried to do this to all my expansion packs but it doesn't do anything. On the Sims 3 launcher, It says that there are no packs downloaded to it obviously but it has a button to install packs to it, but it doesn't do anything at all, it only loads the EA app and pops it up on screen. At one point before I re-installed the Sims 3, it did say one was downloaded but it didn't show up in game or do anything. Idk why its not working! I wanted to play the sims 3 on my new PC computer but It won't let me download it to the game. Oh well! Pleassee fix! I know lots of people have this problem too.

The same thing happen to me  today .Try downloading the add ons,but it froze.

Yeah, this is a pretty big obnoxious bug that’s been happening (to myself included). Many players are complaining about it, but EA just keeps saying they’re working on a fix. It’s been weeks.

Same for me ☹️ ☹️ the ea assistance said the bug will be resolved soon...
