Yes! And my game is up and running with all packs and CC - had to do a cleaned reinstall for it.
I moved the saves, sims, mods and CC into a separate folder then uninstalled the whole thing and the EA app making sure to shut the pc down after. And fully deleting the EA files from Documents and Programs.
Then I reinstalled the EA app and let it update itself before attempting install.
Then installed what it would allow (typically gets stuck on movie stuff for some reason)
Loaded the game to let it build its directories, need to play it a bit to get things moving.
Then shut down pc again, and then load it, go for the packs again.
Once the packs dl'd I launched again, let it do its thing started a family etc
Then shut it all down again, copied my saves, sims, mods and CC into the new folder under documents and installed them with the launcher.
Took forever!!!! But, its all up and running now
- 3 years ago@hippiejenni EA really screwed up here. It almost makes me never want to play an EA game again, after all this hassle.
