Hello, last night origin was replaced by EA app on my MAC, unfortunately, when that happened, The Sims 4 are now in english even though it should be in Czech as it was before.... EA app is not in Czech, but Origin was and I had no problems with that. Currently, I`ve tried reinstalling the game and ea app few times, every time the result is the same - I specifically choose the game to be installed in CZECH but this great EA app still installs it in English. Would be nice if somebody could actually do something about it. Right now my game and all of DLC`s are useless to me. Which is very disappointing from your side EA. ACCEPTING AS SOLUTION FOR VISIBILITY PURPOSES ONLY We've received news from the EA app dev teams that this issue has been resolved with the release of the EA app for Mac version 13.166 (or above). However, it is possible that you either need to repair or reinstall the game in order for the game to be in your preferred language again. The EA app for Mac should automatically update to the latest version in some time, depending on how often you open the client. A restart of the client can also trigger the update. Hello, I play The Sims on Mac OS and Origin automatically prompted me to install the EA App. I installed the application, launched the game, but it ran in English and not in Czech. I read that I must uninstall and reinstall the game. I’ve done this several times and it still doesn’t work. Please help me 🙏

Hi, i have problem with ea app. After update from origin game language change to English. I reinstall the game several times change before installation to my language and that * is still in English. Can you delete the forcing update from origin and let us use it at least then you fix it. Thank you .

Same problem here! This EA App it’s extremely bugged. I had my The Sims 4 in Portuguese before, and now, the app changed to English.
I tried to reinstall and nothing…

Hello,
- macOS Ventura version 13.6.5
- I already had to switch from Origin to the EA app, so now I have the EA app
- I have the EA app in English and The Sims 4 in Czech language
1. When I switched from Origin to the EA app, it was not possible to run The Sims 4 (photo in the attachment) -- "The current user is not entitled to run The Sims 4 in the installed language."
The same thing happened to me in Origin after every game update, but I was able to fix it manually and rewrite the plist files into Czech. Now I can't find it in the EA app.
2. So I uninstalled The Sims 4, cleared the cache and reinstalled the game. At the beginning of the installation, I changed the English language to Czech.
3. The game has started, but it is in English language. After reinstalling, I have all my saved game files. Everything remained as it was before the reinstallation.
4. I chose to repair the game in the EA app. It didn't help, the game is still in English.
Please, can someone help me how to get the game into Czech without having to reinstall it again? ☹️ Thank you.

Hi, I have problem with The sims 4.
Origin reinstalled to EA app, so now I have only EA app. When I want play The sims 4, the game does not start and the window pops up with this report: The current user is not entitled to run The Sims 4 in the installed language. I tried change EA language and region and it didn't help. Also I tried repair the game, but didn't work. Can someone help please? Have MacOS

Hi so today i wanted to play The sims 4 and i got a notification that i need to download EA App (i’m playing on Macbook) so i downloaded it but when i tried to play it i found out that the Czech language is not in the language options. How can i solve this?

I have recently updated my Origin app to EA app on my Macbook. Right after I wanted to play The Sims 4 as usual, but when I got in the Main menu, I have noticed that the game language is different. I have played the game in Czech the whole time, I have never changed my game language to another one. So my question is, why my game language suddenly changed without any notice or whatsoever into English? It also caused me quite a discomfort, because the only way I can change the game language from English to Czech on the EA app now is to reinstall all the packs again! Now it would take at least one whole day to download the game and all the packs I own.
I hope I find some compensation for the distress that issue caused me.

UPDATE:
I have tried multiple times to redownload and repair the game - unsuccessfuly. I looked into 'Documents > The Sims 4 > cachestr' and I have only found the spotlight_en-us.package. I also tried to look into 'Apps > EA Games > The Sims 4 > Contents > Delta' and in all of the EPs the Strings for every language were there. So I assume that when the update from Origin to EA came, there must have been a problem with the EA App itself, not with the The Sims 4 game...
