Sims 4 bundle packs not downloading on ea play desktop after buying

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.85.203.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Today i bought Seasons, Vampires and Laundry day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When i hover over the packs they say download to use
What happens when the bug occurs? my expansion packs have not downloaded
What do you expect to see? the new packs in my base game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Today i bought a sims 4 bundle on the EA beta desktop and the have not downloaded and do not show in my add ons 

I do not use origin, this is all though the EA desktop and my membership is through the xbox games pass

@emzhuntx Hello!  I don't use EA play or the game pass, so I did a bit of research.  It seems you are not alone.  

Based on what I saw, the top answer is to download a free game (some players reported canceling the download) then see if you can download the packs.  This was the accepted solution by @slawkier1  in this thread.  If that works, please consider giving them some XP.

If any of these work, please consider giving them some XP.
Number 1:
Quit the EA desktop and try to download the game from the xbox app

Number 2:
(Worked for me) Simply sign out of your ea desktop, wait a few minutes then sign back in

Number 3: 
(Haven't tested it) Redownload both apps

Number 4:
Contact support, best thing to do, they should know more solutions than we do (hopefully).
