Before the EA app was a thing, and it was just Orgin, I bought the packs from Steam (on my main Windows PC), however I cannot get some of these packs on my Mac. It says (on my EA app) that they are linked to my Steam app, and is only available on Windows. Sims from Steam is also just available for Windows. I have quite a few packs to say the least, and hates to not being able to play them. Some of the packs are available, but not all of them. Mainly the older ones I bought is unavailable. Any way to fix this, or do I have to like buy ever pack again?
Thank you.

Hi folks,
I bought these expansion packs previously, and I'm 100% sure that I could play them on Origin platform on my Mac. EA engineers could track my playing history with these expansions on my Mac.
I noticed that they changed the platform to EA App, but it shows it's only available on Windows now.
I don't get it. Can someone tell me how I can solve this situation?
Could anyone provide me with support? I changed from PC to MacBook yesterday, however some of ym expansion packs are unable to be downloaded as it says for windows. I did purchase some of them on a. secondary app however the ones that are working were purchased their too... The specific packs that aren't working are cats and dogs, and get to work. Does anyone have a way around this?

Hello, I need some help with my Sims 4 add-ons on Mac.
I recently reinstalled The Sims 4 on my Mac and noticed that my purchased add-ons (e.g., City Living, Seasons, Dream Home Decorator) are showing up in the add-ons list, but each one says "Available on Windows" and I can't use them on my Mac.
I’m not sure why this is happening, since I own the content and would like to use it again. Could this be a platform compatibility issue (Steam vs. EA App vs. Origin)? Or is there something I need to do to make them available on macOS?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Hi zari0132
The Sims 4 on Steam is not available for Mac, so any packs you've bought through Steam won't be playable on your Mac- you'd need to repurchase these packs from the EA app directly to play on your MacBook.

Hi,
I need help with case #215500909. I bought a lot of Sims 4 DLCs on Steam while playing on Windows. I’ve now moved to Mac and installed the game through EA App, but my DLCs are not showing or available.
I already submitted all necessary screenshots (proof of purchase and Steam account info), but the response I got from EA Support was generic and completely unrelated to my issue.
I’m very disappointed with the lack of proper assistance, especially considering I spent money on content I can’t access. Please escalate this or guide me on what else I can do to resolve the problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hey everybody. I got jungle adventure and the luxury party stuff pack for free back when EA was giving them out. They worked perfectly fine after I had recieved them. At one point in time after recieving them, my game had completely bugged out for an unreleated reason so i had to uninstall the sims 4 and reinstall. All the rest of my packs (that I purchased on my own) redownloaded completely fine, but I was missing the two I had gotten for free. This was really aggravating. Can anybody help me with this? I want jungle adventure back but there's no way I'd pay for it. I play on a 2021 M1 iMac and use the EA app to launch my game.
