Update. So I figured out that the 5 expansions purchased were done so through epic games. So I’m guessing I need to somehow link my newly installed ea app on my Mac with the epic games app? I’m so confused lol

I don't know if anyone can help me
I have went through countless troubleshooting even going and talking to EA support too, I can't download 3 packs because it keeps saying I'm using windows even though I'm using Mac, if anyone can help or tell me the right place to post this to get help, this is my first time in 4-5 years of playing the sims that I am having trouble with an issue like this. The pack are Jungle adventure, Luxury Party stuff and Fashion Street Kit, This has happened before the 2025 update too.
I got a new iMac 4 a couple days ago. I'd played Sims 4 on a windows laptop beforehand and logged into my EA account to reinstall sims. I have 6 expansion packs that I'd bought on the old laptop and now that I've migrated to mac and I click 'manage add-ons' in the ea app they're all greyed out and say 'Available on Windows'. Are they not available on Mac? Spoke to EA customer support and they weren't sure why so have said they'll report it and I should be able to use expansion packs on mac. Is anyone else having this problem? Not sure what to do. I've tried relogging, redownloading EA, clearing cache files and whatever else there is to do. Don't know whether it's because I bought the expansion packs on a windows laptop but why that would change anything i don't know. I miss my expansion packs ☹️☹️

So my pc died a few days ago and I decided to upgrade to M4 MacBook Pro. But when I went to download sims and reinstall everything, the packs I bought on steam say “Available on Windows” and won’t allow me to install them. Does anyone know if EA can transfer these for me? Or how to get in contact with EA directly? I already tried asking Steam for refunds on the ones I bought in the last week but they denied all requests. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

I started playing sims and buying contents on my windows laptop. Now I have a Mac and I installed sims4 on EAplay but ı cannot download DLC's. I can see them throught the "manage add-ones" section but it says they're only available on Windows. Please help, I spend A LOT of money to buy them and I want to play with them on my new computer :(
gq5fyq1n93ux Did you buy your content from EA, or through Steam or Epic? The Steam and Epic versions of Sims 4 are Windows-only, but the EA version works in macOS as well.

I got them from Steam, is there any way to transfer them to EA? I cannot buy them again, they're so expensive:(

Hi, did you find out how to fix this issue? Im currently dealing with this too. Thank you.
gq5fyq1n93ux Unfortunately not. The only ways to play with this content are to buy everything again, through the EA App; or to find a way to play in Windows. Right now, Parallels is the only option on Macs with Apple Silicon (M-series) chips, and that's a subscription service, so it's not a great option.
