I have the same problem, I've removed all mods and uninstalled Origin and Sims. The client window will just pop up after attempting to launch the game. I am getting a notification that the EA app for Mac is coming out in a couple of days for Mac on Origin but I'm not sure if that's a factor. I just made copies of all my save files and mod folders in case it transfers over while I can't open it.
I’m not sure why but for some reason I was able to launch the game but only in “Offline mode”. Give that a try- fingers crossed it’ll work for you too!
I hope they they come up with an actual solution for this issue soon though- @anissah96 my sims 4 has completely stopped working, all mods removed and have tried all suggestion online, even your offline mode and still nothing? did you ever report this and if so did you get an answer?
