Sims wont update - stuck on preparing
i have this issue everytime i want to update the sims 4 it always either stops at 0% or goes to 3% and just says preparing. normally after a while it would work but i have been trying to update for 3...

hi! if your downloading it on a hard drive or flash drive i think i found a solution! just remove all the date into another flash drive and format the drive to NTFS! it should most likely work!
I’m not saving on an external at this time. At this point the base game installed with no issues on stream and the dlc installed fine with ea. I don’t understand what’s causing the issue since this update but we really shouldn’t have to do all this to get the game to work.
