I'm having this same problem, and have yet to find a solution that has worked for me.
Someone had success with pausing/turning off their Avast antivirus shields, so that's something you could try if you have an antivirus installed.
I hope you're able to find something that works for you, best of luck!
Yeah thanks, I don't use Avast, I use AVG and as I've said I already completely removed it at one point to eliminate it as the culprit.
I don't know if it will help, but I saw a thread here about removing a file, caused by Frosty modmanager, in this thread...
Do I know if it works, no, as so far, I haven't upgraded to EA App, and I don't use Frosty....which is strange since I have modded both previous DAs and Skyrim to heck and back....
Hey thanks, good idea but unfortunately already one of the things I had tried... and that file had not been created with me
I finally got mine going!!!!! I installed via the EA App but I didn't install it into the default directory. I installed it in the default directory for the EA app itself. Create your own sub-directory inside but I put mine in: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Games\
I suspect installing it inside the Electronic Arts folder allows the EA App to actually run it properly.

Yeah, so I ran into the same problem as everyone here 3 days ago. Ran the game smoothly for over 150 hours then it crashed for no reason. Couldn't open the game for the life of me no matter what fixes I applied.
As a last resort I installed Origin. It verified the game files through Steam then I was finally able to open the game.
I came to the conclusion that the Ea app if bullsh*t and stopped me from opening the game for some reason.
Try with the Origin app, maybe it will work as it did for me. Good luck!
BLOODY HELL!!!
The answer from Gahnja worked for me too! After all the really advanced digital voodoo, simply installing it in the same directory as the EA App did it!!
Thank you so much, where in earth did you get that marvellous idea from?
And on a side note: what a rubbish problem for the app to have! For shame, forcing us to use it...
Ok, finally got solved by user Ghanja: re-installed DAI not in the default folder, but in the same directory as the EA App, for example: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Games\
So, problem solved, but what a rubbish problem for the app to have! For shame...
Does it work for the steam counterpart?
