Teen account date of birth cannot be corrected

Question

My son's EA account is a Teen Account and is correctly linked to my EA Family.

The date of birth on the account is incorrect. Every support advisor has told me there was a temporary issue and asked me to try again the next day.

After more than a week, nothing has changed.

As the parent, I cannot edit the date of birth from Family Management, despite EA's documentation suggesting that parents should be able to manage their child's account.

A support case is open, but no progress has been made.

Since the date of birth determines access to games and features, this should be something EA Support can correct, or parents should be allowed to update.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out.
From what I can see from your forum account, there does not appear to be an underage account linked. I suspect that's why you’re running into this.
Parents or guardians need to create an account for their child.
If you create an adult account, you can’t link your child’s account until they’re eligible to upgrade to a teen account.

Hi,Thank you for answering.I have my own account and my child is having is.The only thing I can manage is the expend limits.But the main problem for me is that the support is not able to change is date of birth when I contact them through the chat, and no one is answering the tickets I have open...&nbsp;
