the EA app uninstalled The Sims 3 and MySims; now it will not re-install them

A few days ago, the EA app uninstalled my previously installed TS3 and MySims. When I queue them to download, they are stuck in a forever-loop of 'preparing.' I have shutdown my computer and restarted the app multiple times. How do I fix this? The EA app seems to have so many bugs.
