    Hi all,

    Please try the following steps to clear up this error:

    • Use a different payment method
    • Make sure your billing details in the EA app match the billing details for your card
    • Remove and re-add your payment method from your account
    • Make sure the location on your account matches your real location

I’m trying to purchase The Sims 4: For Rent expansion pack, but every time I try, I receive the following error message:“We had some trouble processing your request. Select a different payment method, or try again a little later. [ref. #54001]”
I have already tried different payment methods, but the issue still occurs.In addition to For Rent, I’m also unable to purchase any other expansion packs, except for Enchanted by Nature.I spoke with a representative in the live chat, but they were unable to resolve the issue. I also tried disabling the 2FA, but that didn’t help either.

    Have been the same problem for 3 days as well. And cant speak with a representative in the live chat since the website doesnt make you speak with them, it is interesting. I am also unable to purchase any other expansion packs except for Enchanted by Nature too. Same problem here and none to fix that.
