The Sims 4 Disconnecting Internet

@Tylky  Does this happen if you use Origin?  Many of us, although not everyone, can still install and launch Origin, so please try it out:

And please also let me know whether putting the EA App into offline mode fixes the internet issue.  You might still not be able to use the Gallery, but I just want to know whether your computer's connection is affected in general.

I was successful in being able to install Origin, and launch The Sims 4 from Origin. However, when I attempted to access the Gallery, it was unsuccessful in connecting. 

I have put the EA app into Offline Mode, and my internet connectivity is relatively stronger when playing the game in that mode.

I'm concluding that playing The Sims 4 in Online Mode is having a big impact on my internet connectivity, regardless of the launcher.

@Tylky  Does your computer have wifi, and if so, do you see the same problem if you connect to your phone as a mobile hotspot?  Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi, since the point is to test a different network.

I have the same issue, even if I launch he game outside of the EA app.  I can be playing for 4 or 5 minutes and then the internet goes.  It is knocking the driver out, and I have to re-install it, along with the wifi connection.  No other site gives me this problem, I can be on Facebook, You Tube, or just searching on the web for information.  This has only been happening for about two or three weeks.  Another thing which has happened around the same time, is when i repair the game.  I like to do it before I start to play, it gets to about three quarters of the way through the repair, then stops.  It says it is  still repairing, but I can sit for 5 or even 10 minutes and nothing happens.  I turn off the computer and reboot and lo and behold the repair is working again.  Am really fed up with all the bugs and now this, the gallery is unobtainable, and when I come out of the game I have to jump through hoops to get the internet to work, reinstall my driver and wifi adapter.  Come on AE, please sort this out.  I will not be buying any more packs or extensions until it is.
