I had a similar issue with Mass Effect 3 stating it was the standard edition in EA app rather than the deluxe edition. Different product codes between Origin and EA App. The solution took a number of live chats until you find an advisor that understood the solution required the correct deluxe edition code adding to the EA app. So I suggest you try live chat and persist to resolve the issue.

@Krogan_PaulN7 I can confirm that explaining the situation to a live support specialist worked. I had to explain that the situation had nothing to do with corrupt cache (I had done the app recovery and other things to confirm it). If they can see in their system that you actually own the better edition, they will make EA App show it.
