I don’t know for sure, but I can play need for speed most wanted and rivals fine without any problems. I play from the ea desktop app not origin. I had an older pc that I tried to play nfs hot pursuit remastered on too and I had the same problems. I don’t know what the security thing would be
Hi @Bradylobster08 We may be running into an issue with the Beta Client, Can you try the following steps to see if this continues?
- Clear EA App's Cache
- Start the install or another game, cancel then try to launch NFS
- Start the Desktop Icon of Need for Speed as an admin
- Put your device in Clean Boot and check if this continues

I tried the first 3 things you told me to do so the last option was the clean boot. So i did a clean boot and when i tried to open the ea app it said "Something went wrong and the service failed to start. Try again in a moment" What am i supposed to do now?

I figured out how to let the ea app work again, i had to allow the ea background services and a few other things but nfs Hot Pursuit remastered still says the error, i am very frustrated, have no clue what to do.

@Bradylobster08 To confirm after getting EA App started are you still getting the initial error with the game or the second with the service? To confirm are you on an admin account with windows or a standard user?- 4 years ago
I dont have the ea app service error anymore, just the initial error. I have an admin account on windows.
