"There's a problem with your download"/"Something went wrong" EA app Error - '24

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "There's a problem with your download" or "Something went wrong" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLC...

Sorry to hear you're running into this.

Please try running the EA app as administrator first.

  1. Completely close the EA app.
  2. Right-click the EA app icon on your desktop.
  3. Select Run as administrator.
  4. Try starting the download again.

If the issue continues, please try performing a clean reinstall of the EA app and see if that helps. Thanks!

tried that method and still spawns from the fireplace so not sure what's going on lol I ended up just uninstalling the entire game and decided to pause my sims 4 LP for streaming and YT and play other games in the meantime being as i would have to create everything all over again. Hopefully when i do decide to play again it's fixed. Thanks for your efforts though, Highly appreciated.
