"There's a problem with your download"/"Something went wrong" EA app Error - '24

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "There's a problem with your download" or "Something went wrong" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLC...

can i please get some help with my issues its almost 3 months now

I cannot install my sims game. I have tried multiple fixes including reinstalling the app, lowering my UAC, changing the installation app, cleaning the CACHE on the app, and nothing has worked. it stays on processing and then says it has had an issue downloading. I would like to be able to play the content I have paid for and potentially get more, but am so far unable to since EA app took over origin.
