I want to start by saying that some agents within EA chat make it a disaster, I tried time and time again to share my issues just to be dismissed by various agents (Janvi was the worst, he basically gaslight me and told me I was stupid) and received zero help, however shout out Akshay for being amazing and trying his best, the only one who did everything he could).
Anyways, I digress.
I have been dealing with this for about three months now and it all has to do with the EA app. Whenever I launch the app, it is as if none of my games are installed/available to play(or download), they all populate their respective covers but I cannot do anything to any game(Play, install, uninstall). I get the message up top in a yellow banner that reads: "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem." All owned games are stuck on "loading" and when you click the tile it only shows 3 loading dots (not the play or manage buttons) and stays there forever. I have essentially lost all access to every game I have purchased.
In terms of troubleshooting I have tried everything under the sun. A different PC, checking firewall permissions, safe and clean boot, flushing DNS/changing, uninstalling/reinstalling, contacted ISP (Xfinity) and confirmed it is not an internet issue, installing Windows Media Pack for Windows 10, installing Visual C++ Redistributables, and other steps I cannot remember right now.
If it helps, they all are available and run within Origin, just not the EA app. I bring this issues with urgency as Origin servers will be shutting down in April, and if this is not fixed by then I will lose my entire library of games.
