Still unable to buy through the desktop app. Since 22nd June! Although the automatic refresh from confirming my card to being sent to the screenshotted error page is no longer instant - it now waits on the confirmation stage of the form for about 2-3 seconds - but it still fully refreshes the app. I even tried clicking Pay Now in the longer pause before the auto-refresh. It does nothing.
In fact, checking my banking app shows that my attempts to confirm my card haven't even been logged since 24th June. So it seems the EA App isn't even bothering to try to confirm the card now.
