Ohio here.
Can confirm, I've been having the same problem for the past few hours. It was working just fine a few days ago, but now I can't connect at all. Well, there was a very brief window where it connected, but that seems to be a one-off, because I can't get it to do it again.
Tried restarting the app, restarting my computer, clearing the app's cache, etc. Nothing helped. Double checked my firewall, the EA app is allowed through.
EDIT: It just connected again. I do wonder if it has something to do with me logging into the EA site here? Both times, it's been very shortly after I logged in on my browser. I have no idea why that would affect it, though.
- @AnxiousKiwi seems to be a spread out issue. Someone on another forum is having an issue on the West Coast.
Came here to see if anyone else was having problems connecting and when I saw your edit about logging in here I thought, "Couldn't hurt to try." Logged in and then tried the app again and it connected with no problem.
- @nemo434458 I was able to connect by just using VPN, didn't do the post until after I'd already gotten a connection. Still, very odd though.
