I'm sorry to hear that, lets see what we can do about this.
Could you first head over to Collection and confirm that the game is in your Collection?
If it is, then click on the 3 lines on the top left and go to: Help > App Recovery > Clear cache.
Then try again.
It's the only basic troubleshooting step I haven't seen listed yet, so I want to try this first.

@Koala0nFire Just singling you out for a second, if you're still in contact with our support team then could you ask them to log into your account and ask if they are able to add ME:LE to your account using EA Desktop?
It would show us if it's a local issue or something on our side.
@Laciuu and @S_diachka_S, as soon as I get the above info I will pass it on to the team to be looked into (unless it's something local). I also had a look and I couldn't find a specific cause for this. Can you confirm that you still cannot add ME:LE to your Collection?

Having the same issue, tried all the above solutions and nothing worked.
Downloading other games is working fine.
- 4 years ago@EA_Jason Still unable to add this specific game to collection, or begin downloading it. Every other game I can add to collection, or begin downloading, when it was in my collection already. Including the games available for 10 hour trials, other Mass Effect games. Basically everything works, but not ME Legendary Edition. I had a similar problem with It takes Two a few months back, but that one I could resolve with either doing the app recovery thing, or installing EA desktop again. But this time, none of the things work, and I'm still unable to download ME: Legendary Edition. Just this one.
