There is no way to launch the game. Every time I try to lanuch the game, it opens the steam, and open the login window of EA app while the EA app is running, and then crash in splash screen, only left the EA app windows. I try second time by launching the game, it gives me the same thing. Splash screen, then nothing happened. I tried to run as administrator, same thing happened on EA app. However, when I run as administrator on Origin App, it works. But you guys don't allow us to use it anymore. HI @RedN3ckSlayer When you have a moment, can we try the following? Then check if you can link your EA and Steam accounts. EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Verify the game in your Steam library Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

i have the same problem when I launch bf5 (which i bought on Steam) from steam or ea app nothing happens.NFS Hot Pursuit (bought on steam) works.

I did all three but still the same thing.

@Elsamae1150 ORGIN IS GONE!!!! why are most fixes on the web including orgin its gone and it was the worst app ever put out there. and if you own the game thru steam its all problems when the game has to open with ea this third party app scheme should be put to rest it ruins games

It is a little late but i found a fix that worked for me. Go to your file explorer then OneDrive. Go to Documents then Battlefield V. Then go to settings and open "PROFSAVE_profile" in notepad. If you get an error saying that one drive isn't enabled, search OneDrive in your windows search and click the first one and it should ask you to log into your Microsoft account. once your logged in go through the steps again to open PROFSAVE_profile in notepad. When you open it in notepad, hit CTRL+F to open a search bar. Within that search bar, search Dx12Enabled. If the value is 0, put it to 1 and if the value is 1 put it to 0. i also put my EA Desktop admin permissions.

Resetting Dx12Enabled in the PROFSAVE_profile worked. Mine was set to 1 and changed it to 0. Then all Ihad to do was launch BF5 from the ea app and it actually started running. Literally so much more helpful then EA and their one solution of clearing the EA app cache.

The fix is simple uninstall EA App and then install old origin, you have to force it to not update by inserting some code in a .cfg file. And also you have to go to the folder you installed the game and delete the ea app installer. This fix works for all the battlefields. So far I tested all of them except the last one 2042 that from reviews is * af.
Loved the fact that if you click refund on steam for the battlefield games the refund is instant. Even steam knows about how good EA is. No more money for EA pls. Legit you sell some games on steam and then you make them unplayable. GJ

The only disadvantage is that you can`t invite friends to join your lobby. The multiplayer still works but you have to join servers by ip. And also you can`t play other games like nfs or nba that works on ea app so you do have to chose.
