Unable to launch the Sims 4

So I wanted to play the Sims, went to EA to launch it, and all of a sudden (this was very random btw) I got an error message saying try again later and that it was an error on EA's end. I looked into support for this, cleared the cache twice, clean booted literally 3 times, and even after that it still didn't let me launch it. I even uninstalled EA and repaired the Sims files, nothing.

I don't know if this is just a problem on my end or what, but even with running background services never once have they ever affected the Sims. As mentioned, this was just a sudden issue.
The error message says:
"Failed to launch game
An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later."
I waited a whole day and this still persisted.
