Unable to obtain product key on steam for activation on Origin

My bad if this is an insultingly obvious recommendation, but I was having this issue and it turned out my Steam account was linked to a different Origin account I hadn't used in a while. So it asked for the activation code for the Origin account I was currently signed into, but when I signed out and into my other account, it automatically opened the game without any issue. So if you have another Origin account, try signing into it and see if that fixes it.

That was my thinking too @qk347, if you can't link your Steam account, then it could be that you have linked the Steam account previously to a different EA account.

The tips that I gave above should help you locate the correct EA account.
