Unable to open on Mac

Today at around 11:30 (GMT/UTC+0) the EA app installed an update, and after it was done, attempting to open the app gave an error message stating that it was damaged, could not be opened, and should be moved to the bin.

I have attempted to download a fresh installation, and the error message remains.

Opening the 'get info' panel shows the version number as 13.387.0.5900. I am running macOS Sequoia 15.1.1

I've also just updated my game on mac. I was playing sims earlier this week, and now I can't play at all because it was apparently downloaded for PC...

I have never purchased anything for PC, and now I can't play any games that I have spent money on. EA, do better.

Yesterday an update was pushed that broke the app again. Later on I was able to download a version of the app that worked, but today the app has been broken again.

I have one game through the EA app, and I can tell you that the repeated, and getting more frequent, issues with the app auto-installing updates that break it, whilst broken versions are all that are downloadable on the EA website, does not make me want to get any other games through the EA app.

I am now on Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70), which is the current up-to-date version of the operating system.
