Summarize your bug I am unable to update the EA app. There is a required restart which will not progress past 0% before it states the update failed to download. I am unable to play any games that I have purchased. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing the cache, clearing windows temp files, running the updater as admin... nothing seems to work. Help?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? initiate the required restart of the EA app
What happens when the bug occurs? a constant cycle of clicking "restart app" then an immediate notification that the "update failed to download"
What do you expect to see? a download that progresses through to the end, allowing me to access the games I have purchased and actually launch, then play said games.
