[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On

Hi all,

For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. 

My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends.  I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends.

Tried the following but nothing helped:

  1. App uninstall and re-install.
  2. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall.
  3. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall.
  4. Restart router.
  5. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.

    I'm experiencing the exact same issue.

    I've tried all the steps OP took. Attached my EA logs if its nee

    Hi all,

    It appears there was a temporary issue that caused the app to behave as previously reported. However, this has now been resolved, as mentioned here. Could you please confirm if you're still experiencing the same error?

    xXFallenZeusXx​ YatoGami-1478​ Yes, I'm not seeing the logs attached. Are you uploading them in a .zip format? Do you see the files attached while composing the post, but then they disappear after clicking "Reply"?

    FYI, Issue still persists and also the link you shared as solution doesn't exactly tell how it was fixed or what has been done to fix it.
