What is wrong with EA app!

Every 2 days I have to repair 63GB of Apex Legends just to play 1 match. It takes so much time to repair by when my craze goes off!

    Hi @Sins_Johny When you have a moment can we try the following steps?

    Spoiler
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
    • Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
      • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
      • EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
      • Steam - Verify in your library
    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
    • Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings 
    • Install/Repair your VC++ files for Apex
    • Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues. 
    • Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

    If you continue running into issues, let us know the following:

    Platform:

    PSN ID/Xbox GT:

    Region:

    Are you getting an error message?

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

    Is anything else happening?

    Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

    If on PC, please share a DxDiag

  • Every time it's a bit different, for a few days it's like some .pak file then something related to anti-cheat, and sometimes it just stops NO ERROR MESSAGE NO NOTHING, JUST STOPS. I restart the game again the same story in 5-10 minutes. Then I repair and it works for a day or 2 at max. then some new issues.

    theres a lot wrong with the ea app like the chat randomly sending you all the way to the top of your messages with a friend so you have to scroll back down XD. they must just throw **** into live launch without testing just like their games (i had a bug that affected my player/rank in game modes for months that counted as losses when i won). ea themselves are the problem and lack to care about their products 😉

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Around 2-3 weeks ago(Yes)

    Is anything else happening? I can't play the game but every time its a different issue with EA only

    Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue: Restarted the system, restarted the game, and repaired the game around 10-20 times(not exaggerating).

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

    If on PC, please share a DxDiag. Guide me plz

  • Now today! Some new error. Please fix it or else bring origin back that was much better!

    @Sins_Johny To confirm where are you able to try the steps above? If so, can you check if the file in the error message is there? Try to delete it and verify/repair the game once more and check if the error continues.
  • I have repaired already 7 times, because u said I did it once more! Still the same it keeps loading. Please have a look.

    @Sins_Johny To confirm before or after the repair is the file in the game's install location?
