Windows cannot find EALauncher.exe, when it's right there

I had an issue with the EA app, and uninstalled and reinstalled it. Yesterday after reinstalling, the app worked fine, today it won't let me launch the app despite it working yesterday. The error...

After much trial and error, the solution ended up being a combination of things.

  1. Restart you PC
  2. Press Windows + R, and open %appdata%
  3. Find and delete all cache files.
  4. Run EALauncher.exe
  5. If the app doesn't run completely, go to the top right corner, click on app recovery
  6. Clear cache
  7. Restart yor PC.

 

This all worked for me, not sure quite what did it, and not sure if it is a permanent solution, will update if it turns out not to work permanently.
