Windows PC EA app not launching

I like your suggestion. A mass exodus would be great... except for the $$$ I've already invested. I wasn't borrowing those games and it's definitely not a subscription. I purchased them. If this forced "upgrade" suddenly denies me, and you, and everyone else access to the games we purchased, we are entitled to refunds of everything we can't play. THEN go spend it anywhere except EA Games.
The suggested fix didn't work for me. But opening file location of the EA app and running the updater opened CMD , updated automatically and works now.
Yes, in the start menu, i found the EA app updater, it updated and was working afterwards :D
