Xbox account linked to disabled EA account

I have an xbox account that I had linked to this account for a long time. It got unlinked from here for some reason. I think I accidentally created an account when trying to sign in via xbox. That account then got disabled with my xbox account still linked to it, and I've avoided playing EA games since then but wanted to play battlefield 6. I can't do so without gamepass, and I can't connect another xbox account to my current account, and i don't want to make a whole new xbox account AND EA account just to play this game. I opened a help case for linking accounts and it repeatedly got marked as resolved with no update given to me, now I can't even update the case because EA now says help linking accounts isn't handled by an advisor. EA help has been anything but helpful. I tried signing in via xbox, but when I put in the email associated with my xbox account that would have created the other EA account it says that no EA account exists, so I can't even reset the password on it like the troubleshooting tree recommends. This company has the absolute worst customer service i've ever seen.
