"You don't have access" error

So I am having a very strange problem. I bought 3 packs, Toddler stuff, Kids room stuff, and parenthood. I was able to download them fine. Then one day they randomly were not downloaded. I went to the EA app and queued them up to download but it said there was an "Unexpected issue" and to try again later. So I did and the same thing happened again and again and again. Flash forward a few months, now when I try to download them it says I don't have access since I "don't own the game' and i have the go to the game hub to get the game. I am still able to play the game and all my other packs work just fine, even ones I bought after those 3. I don't know what to do and I really just want my packs back.

    It sounds like this pack may have been removed from your account- this isn't something we can check for over the forums since we don't have access to your account details, but the live support team can take a look and see what's happening with your packs.

  • EA_Solaire​ i've this issue with every ea play pro game that isn't in my library. I looked at my order history and it is completed. i don't know what to do can you please help me

  • Every time I've tried to update ts4 in the EA app over the last few hours I've been blocked by the app and have been receiving a series of different error messages each time (and they're all still happening after I've re-installed the EA app, cleared the app's cache, restarted my computer, removed my mods folder- I even removed all of ts4 game add-ons and manually downloaded each one again). The error messages are: "You don't have access; we've canceled the download because you don't own this game...", "We had some trouble processing your request; we couldn't process your request because Ts4 is managed by Steam. Go to Steam to complete your request" (which I then downloaded Steam and created an account so I could do this and that's not giving me any options to fix this)... "Failed to launch game/an error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later" (when I tried to bypass the game update and play anyways)... etc. What's going on??

    bought sims 3 about a year ago, go to play it today and i get the same error 
    "you dont have access"

    "download cancelled because you dont own this game. to play go to the game hub to get the game"

    this is awful, i think ill just get my money back.

    So I'm going to start off by that this is not a new issue, in fact I created a case for this issue 2 years ago and EA just closed it without a resolution or reason.

     

    The issue: EA launcher, in short that whole launcher is a giant mistake, they should've never removed origins when it actually somehow worked.

    The real issue: I can download The sims 3 base game with the supernatural expansion and pets expansion. But whenever I launch the sims 3 in its launcher only supernatural shows as installed content. So the content for that is not there at all.

    So, a couple of days ago I thought about this issue again, if it has been solved. I find this thread:sims 3 pets and seasons not showing in launcher | EA Forums - 11923831

    It's ironic when the same issue rears its ugly head, right? Not to mention that I have done exactly the same troubleshooting steps as the person in the thread 2 years ago, and even on a entirely new pc this year.

     

    The EA rep in the thread tells the person to submit a help request. Well I did this and here is the results, you are going to love this! (pics below or attachment with blurred out names).

     

    What they basically said was that my account had a sanction on my pets expansion, in which very much confused me because I have never heard of anything like this, I own the game and what must've done in order to get a expansion banned?

     

    They send me a link telling me to appeal the sanction on my sims 3 pets expansion. I created yet another ticket with the therms of service team. Low and behold, they get back to me today telling me "What sanctions? We don't see any restrictions on your account?"

    I sit back in my chair trying to make sense of this. Thinking, how is this legal? Why was I told there was a ban on my expansion? All I wanted was them to re-add my expansion to solve a problem. Why isn't the problem solved? Why is EA outsourcing support from India? All of these questions.

     

    Lastly, I was up to 1am last night to get to the support help which led nowhere.

    This is the email by the way, they tell me to create a support ticket, again... It's like... Why?! 

     

    And to the others, there might be a wording problem or two, I was tired and wanted my problem solved last night...

  • Hello i bought 3 new games and installed them yesterday everything was working fine until i came back from taking a break and now my new packs are uninstalled and will not redownload. I tried restarting the app, repairing the game, clearing the cache, i even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game and EA app on my mac. I tried reaching out to EA and it gave me a message saying that this problem isn’t available to talk to an agent. I attached below the specific message and the packs that aren’t working I did find an older post on this forum and another person was able to fix it by clearing their cache but that isn’t working for me

    Previously, I bought Sims 3 with Seasons, Ambitions, Generations. It can be seen in the ea app or site, but not in the game. It says it's definitely installed in the ea app. But it doesn't work. I tried to fix this by downloading it, deleting it over and over and over and recovering. But nothing was solved. Please help. Please, really. Help. I'm out of my mind
    I think it will come. It might be awkward because it's written in a translator. Can anyone speak Korean? I will try to translate it even if it's written in English. Please help me. I want to play a game

  • Someone help before I blow my top. I haven't played sims in years ever since the failure I thought sims 4 was so I stayed loyal to sims 3. I just jumped on a 3 day binge after years of a hiatus. Last I played was when EA had just eliminated Origin. Clearly, this has created nothing but a mess and I have nothing but distain for the EA app. When I log into my EA app, everything is in working order. My sims 3 base game appears and my TWENTY expansion packs all appear under the "manage add-ons" drop down... AS THEY SHOULD! HOWEVER! For whatever reason when I go to play and it jumps to the game launcher, only FIVE of my TWENTY expansion appears for me to choose to play from. For the last few days I have settled for it, but I am missing so much from not being able to access the expansion packs I want! I have spent two days, formed several fists, officially sent a report to EA and continue to go down the rabbit hole of forums and reddit posts to fix the problem and NOTHING is working. What I have heard working for other people is for some reason not working for me. After two days I finally found where to "re" download the origin app and it won't let me open after download claiming it "cannot connect to internet." Now with the origin downloaded, my EA app greyed out the play button for Sims, meaning I cannot access my game at all with the Origin app on my PC. So I either trouble shoot the origin app in hopes that I gain access to all of my games by forcing the use of the OG app... or I uninstall it and figure out how to work with EA app despite my hatred for the forced change in launchers.

    I am beyond frustrated..... please help and I DO NOT TELL ME TO UnIStALL aNd ReINsTaLL the game... I HAVE... MANY TIMES.
