2 Factor Authentication, Adding phone number & Trusted Devices

I am currently having issues with the EA website not allowing my phone number to be added for the 2FA. I recently deleted the phone number due to not receiving text messages when sending a code through the phone number and thinking adding it back would help resolve the issue. However, every time I try to add the phone number it's giving me an error message "Something went wrong. Try again later". I have tried adding a different phone number and still doesn't work. I tried adding a phone number to a different EA account using the same internet connection and it worked. However, my main account is still having an issue. Also, when looking through the trusted devices I used to see both Consoles (PS5) and Companion app logins for FC 25. At this point, I am only seeing companion app logins and when logging into a new device EA doesn't ask me to send a code for verification even though the 2FA is on. All of this used to work about 2 weeks ago. I have currently exhausted all my options with live chat and you are my last resort to solve this issue.

    In this case, you best reach out to EA support, and they can have a look at this with you and hopefully help you add the phone number to your account.
