Account Hacked and Banned at the same time

I am experiencing the same thing. Got XBOX Game Pass, wanted to play some EA Play games and found that my xbox account is linked to an old ea account which i lost access to to a hacker. EA support helped me get access back to it, then he tells me there is a ban on the account. and mind you i had to give up a new EA account which i bought FC 26 on because the EA support guy said it needs to be the old email used. Anyways 4 appeals later and multiple advisor chats and nothing. nobody can help. they wont even unlink the **bleep** account. its my **bleep** property but they are keeping my xbox and steam hostage. im losing my mind.

They will help you get back your account but the ban stays 🤣🤣 professional edging , excuse my language but it is what it is . Stupid company , just give up on the account if it’s banned! 3 months down and still no response on the ban. GG!

AkBC111​ in the same boat, the live chat advisors are so unhelpful. I don’t have access to the email or phone number but could provide every other bit of information, but the account is unrecoverable. I don’t even want to think about the amount of money and time I’ve spent into this company.

sadly its been around 2 months now and ive lost hope. just posting this for fellow EA customers that you can get bans for absolutely no reason and the ban wont be removed either. GG's. and it isnt like i lost 1 game, i lost my whole account which had around 10 EA games. 🙂

I do not have information on whether the ban may be permanent. Please allow time for a response if you have not received one yet. You can appeal up to three times, so all is not lost just yet. Thank you. EA_Barry.

It’s been around a week since my 2nd appeal, although I got the email recovered but the ban hasn’t been lifted yet, there’s no reply from the review team. Should I consider the ban to be permanent? Some hacker causes some problems and I have to face the consequences? Never expected such a thing from a company like EA.

i got the account back to my email id, but the ban isnt removed. like why am i getting punished for something that a hacker did on my account? am i punishable for some one elses crimes? my appeal was rejected. i hope the re appeal comes out positive, cuz if it dosent all my money spent goes to waste, F1 25 , Fifa 22, fc25 ultimate edition , fc26 worlds game edition , battlefield V definitive edition , a way out . all of these games worthless? i did not even start playing FC26 yet. GG.
