Community Managerfifabrownlee No, not necessarily! There are other ways to verify account ownership besides the recognized device that an advisor will work with you through.
Though as mentioned, we can't resolve this here on the forums since it involves discussing account details. So please do connect with live support and have them guide you through the verification process and update any obsolete account information.
So just off with the Advisor the only way for me to verify is the recognised device as I’ve no access to the email or phone number and I need a verification code to make changes which I can’t get

Live support would have the most accurate information when it comes to accounts, since they have access to tools and records we don't have on the forums. I'm afraid that if live support said that using the recognized console is the only way to verify the account, then it likely means alternative methods aren't available in this situation.
Sorry for any confusion earlier. It'd be best to continue working with support and checking in with another advisor to confirm if anything else can be done.
