Account Verification

Hi all, as title says I’m trying to verify my EA Account, the email and phone number I associate with the account don’t exist no more. I’ve been told the only way to then recover it is a recognised device. Which my account says has been used this year 2026 but I don’t have it as of 2025 (upgraded to a Series X)which raises an alarm bells with me that someone may have access to my EA or linked account. Is there anyway it can be recovered on EAs end? 

Addon: I managed to log into Skate. On my Series X to redeem rewards for N7 day so shouldn’t it not have updated to the Series X

    fifabrownlee​ No, not necessarily! There are other ways to verify account ownership besides the recognized device that an advisor will work with you through. 

    Though as mentioned, we can't resolve this here on the forums since it involves discussing account details. So please do connect with live support and have them guide you through the verification process and update any obsolete account information.

    But I don’t have the recognised device anymore and the recognised device hasn’t updated to my Series X so does this mean I can’t get the Account back ever then?

    Hey fifabrownlee​,

    If you no longer have access to the email address registered to the EA account, you'll want to reach out to our support team directly so they can help update those account details and troubleshoot those account verification concerns. I'm afraid we can't help with account-related requests here on the forums. 

    The steps on this page would typically help you update that information, but since you no longer have access to the email itself it'd be best to just scroll to the bottom for the Contact us option. If you're receiving pushback from the NextStep bot, please use this web form instead. An advisor will need to verify your ownership of the account first, but should be able to work with you to get things updated and verified from there. This would include confirming your recognized device, along with updating the account-associated email address and phone number.

    Once your account verification and information are complete, please feel free to go through the security steps on this page to secure your account to prevent foreign logins.
