Anyway to unlink Steam from an old EA account that you can't access?

My steam is linked to an old EA account that I can't access anymore because I've lost access to the email, unable to do access it at all. I'm trying to get ready for the Battlefield 6 beta, but I can't link Steam to a second account

I've put in a support ticket, which was closed with the message

When they didn't do anything. I've also been sitting in the chat waitline for about 7 hours on Monday and 4 today.

Is there any other way to do this? I can't even delete my old EA account without going through support, I can give them all the information they might want to verify it but I just can't get in that email anymore
