Back up codes

I am having this issue too. My 2FA shows as DISABLED but I need a CODE to Enable it or otherwise access any of my account data. My email address is correct and verified and active but I have not received any emails from EA in months.

Would be great if it actually worked though every time I click 2 factor authentication it asks me to verify my account with a code emailed to me except every time I try submit the code it disappears of my screen making it impossible you’d think a billion dollar company could run a website apparently not

You can still check your backup codes under two-factor authentication in the security and privacy section of your account.

in the new version of ea.com its not there.

Where to find your backup codes

If you lose your phone, the authenticator app fails, or you can’t access your email address, backup codes are the only way to sign into your EA Account from a new device.

View and renew these codes on the Security and Privacy tab of your EA Account portal. Go to Backup Codes and select View to find them.

Write your backup codes down and keep them in a safe place so you’ll always be able to log in when you need to.
