Can't link twitch to EA account

My EA accoutn had a random string of letters/numbers associated as it's linked twitch account.

 I unlinked it, because it wasn't a valid twitch account and you can't even find a twitch account with that name.

However because EA thinks my account had a proper twitch associated with it, i can't link my proper twitch at all and claim any drops.
