Can't unlink unknown Steam account from EA Account – linking fails (PC)

Just to clarify, did the advisor send a verification code to your email? You've passed account verification, and they said they couldn't assist you with the changes? Or did you not manage to pass the account verification with them?

I have already contacted EA Help, and that is where I am stuck. My case number is #255978005.

The first advisor verified my email, then said there were no further options and closed the chat with no resolution, no escalation and no next step. I have since updated the case, but there has been no progress update, and the unknown Steam account is still linked to my EA Account.

My Steam purchase receipt and screenshots of the issue are already attached to the case as proof of ownership.

I understand you cannot fix account issues on the forums. Could you please flag or escalate case #255978005 to the right team, or tell me how to reach an advisor who can handle account security and unlinking? I bought Battlefield 6 on Oct 4 and still cannot play it.
