Cross progression stuff loss

So recently I have merged my accounts I played on Xbox originally I linked it with my steam account and boom Im level 1 with nothing i have proof of the money i spent on the game on my xbox i had so many hours and levels was looking to hop back in since its been a while and now im kinda upset that everything i have is gone and when i try to contact support the box is greyed out to contact an advisor what should i do im confused and the ai help thing is no help can someone please help
