Sorry to hear there's been difficulty getting past our NextStep bot to reach an advisor and update that email address. 

If you haven't already, please try using this web form to connect with an advisor. Once you submit the form with 'Login Issues' as the topic and attach a file, you should be redirected to a self-service page with the option to chat with an advisor. It might be worth testing across different browsers and devices in an incognito or private window, with ad blockers disabled.

After getting in touch with an advisor, they'll need to verify your account ownership and should be able to work with you to update things from there.
