EA chat delirium ….
I submitted a chat request to unlink an old EA account that I no longer have access to (the email does not exist anymore). When I initially submitted the request I assumed they would process it, solve the issue, and get back to me via email.
24 hours went by…nothing….48 hours, still nothing…. I recontacted the support page and realized there is a chat room once you submit a request. So I waited, staring hopefully at 99+. I assume this meant 99+ ahead of me, or maybe 99+ minutes? Either way I was happy because at least I can finally talk to someone. I waited….and waited….and waited some more. After FIVE hours I gave up. Then I check my email, as they stated they will contact me once I am up. What do I see? An email saying they missed me and if I still needed help to contact them again. WHAT? I sat checking the chat every ten minutes. And they had already opened the chat and ended it? I have repeated this process multiple times. Every time I sit in the chat room and nothing happens. Then I check my email and BOOM they already attempted to chat with me and say that I missed it. So this is my last ditch effort before I get call of duty this fall. Someone resolve my issue. I have already described EVERYTHING you need to unlink the old account in the original support ticket I submitted. Unless you hired mentally inefficient support staff? Wouldn’t surprise me anymore EA.
