Placeholder icons, broken games, horrid support
Final post here, ever.
Ea support is such an absolute joke I've never been helped.
I just spent an hour in an endless loop on ea support website that has a broken chatbot that sends you to dead ends and literary is built to make sure you never speak to a single human.
If you do manage to get sent to a page with a text prompt. You better believe your support ticket gets booted into the aether and is not sent to anyone of be able to be found by you afterwards.
The actual problem I've been facing for YEARS is so upsetting and an absolute testament to EA and how much they care.
For the games Lost In Random and Plants VS Zombies Battle for Neighborville for the Nintendo Switch, EA has used placeholder icons for both games and refuse to update them.
This essentially means you are advertised a game full and complete like any product you ever purchase. But then upon opening the game and loading the card, you find that the icon of the game, which is 50% of the screen on Nintendo Switch consoles, is an unfinished placeholder icon.
So right out of the box you're confronted by a while box with a LR in the middle instead of the box art. Or just a picture of plants and zombies without the full title showing. You're immediately confronted with how unfinished the game is going to be.
Numerous game breaking bugs in LIR and controll defects once you switch between docked and handheld in PVZBFN.
And then you contact support for years to ask them to work on the bugs and finish the product with a proper icon for the game.
And they just refuse. What absolute jokes.
Finally fix these issues, or never make a game again if you can't.
