I tried contact EA Creator Network team via email and they response that it's a tech issue. The person who replied my email said they will flag this issue with backend team to fix it. So, I guess it's a waiting game now. (tbh i'm dying to process to the next step after my application is approved. So, I'm quite sad to have to wait again after waiting for such a long time..)

yes, and they said it's a tech issue from backend and will fix it soon.

It sounds like you have been approved for the EA Creator Network (based on the welcome email) and just need to finalise a few bits. Can I double-check? Have you paused on progressing past the 'Connect Accounts' stage due to the older gamertag being displayed?

Hi Lanna,
Thanks for double-checking. I didn't pause at the 'Connect Accounts' step, as I was never taken to the 'Information' step from the beginning. After getting accepted, I couldn’t proceed because the system automatically redirected me to the 'application-reject' page.
