EA playtesting - Platforms

Hello

I applied for the latest EA playtesting, i have beta tested every Battlefield since BF2!!

So i thought i would look at the new one. I was accepted for beta testing and received a link....

Only issue is it is for Xbox and not for PC! Now i do have an xbox it has just been 400miles away for 9 months!.

Does anyone know how i could contact EA playtesting to see if i can get a PC link?

I have tried updating my preferences.......

  • Hey RIPMate,

Typically for any playtesting we do across our various titles, once you receive a key we are unable to swap or exchange it for another platform, sorry.

I'm not aware of the specifics for this particular playtest, but the way I'd look at playtesting in general is more that if you received an Xbox code, it's because they're looking for additional testers on Xbox and your preferences indicated that was an available platform for you. The playtesting invites would be based on the current need, rather than a more open round of testing where you'd be able to choose your own platform.

If you've indicated in your playtesting profile that you have or are interested in testing on a specific platform, that platform may be selected. If you don't currently have access to an Xbox, I'd definitely suggest updating your profile with only platforms you can currently access so any potential invites would keep that in mind.

It sounds like you've since updated your preferences, but just for reference from our help page, you can follow this link to update your profile if needed.

    Hi

it has nothing to do with this.. i’m not disclosing anything!

i want to test on my PC….  I’ve not accepted anything because i keep getting Xbox xs invites and don’t have an xbox at moment.

the options in preferences don’t allow you to define…

so i could be helping with stuff, doing testing etc… if they sent PC invites…

hopefully thats easy enough to understand?

    Hi

    it’s not the region… it’s the platform… i only have a PC at the moment…

  • I am pretty sure that you are not able to change region.. Not even EA people can do it.
